When using the GIT Barents interactive map service on this site,
you will be able to zoom through the 1:1 M database and reach underlying,
national data at larger scales, i.e. for Murmansk region in Russia,
for Finland, Sweden and Norway.
These national data are not harmonized across the country borders.
They are presented in their “normal” national coordinate and map
projection systems.
Approximate zooming limits are:

From Barents 1:1M to general map 1:250 000 (1:200 000 in Russia) at about 1:300 000

From general map 1:250 000 to road map 1:100 000 at about 1:150 000 (for selected areas, only)

From road map 1:100 000 to terrain map 1:50 000 at about 1:70 000 (for selected areas, only)

From terrain map 1:50 000 to property map 1:10 000 at about 1:20 000 (for selected areas, only)
